Our vision...

A more prosperous future for coffee communities through self-sustaining (for-profit) business models that provide income diversification for coffee growers, create jobs in rural communities, improve coffee quality, and leverage the existing coffee supply chain.

Banana Fiber

Bananas are often grown with coffee, providing shade to improve coffee quality, and an additional source of food. The waste from the banana trunk could be used for a host of products... from textiles to paper and beyond.

Beeswax

Honey bees help pollinate coffee flowers and provide an additional income source without taking land away from the primary cash crop. Many products can be made from beeswax, with minimal capital requirements.

Coffee Cherry Waste

It takes five pounds of coffee cherries to make one pound of roasted coffee. The first step is "de-pulping", or removing the coffee "bean" from the cherry. We are exploring uses for that waste pulp that have market value.
